“Inter-university student conference – 

Actual Issues of Law”

Law Faculty of International Black Sea University and Ilia State University School of Law hold an annual “Inter-university Student Conference – Actual Issues of Law”

The target group of the conference is BA students and the purpose of it is to encourage them to research actual issues of law. It supports formation of analytical thinking and development among students, creates a perspective to see problems in different approaches and to find different solutions to them. The conference creates an opportunity to deeply discuss actual, interesting and dogmatic issues, form reasoned arguments, raising students’ awareness about legal issues, discovering talented students and encourage them.

Research papers regarding constitutional, criminal and private law shall be presented. Participants are allowed to select a topic from the offered list, but students can suggest their own ideas to the organizers and work on them.

Mutual conference has been held since 2016, in spring semester of every academic year and the amount of the participants is raising every year.
