Delegation of the European Union to Georgia – in partnership with the embassies of the EU Member States – is organising an outdoor information and entertainment “Europe Day 2018” event, which will be held on 5 May in Tbilisi’s Rike Park. Moreover, similar smaller-scale events will be also held in the regions (dates and places TBD).

EU4Georgia is looking for volunteers, who will join and help our team organise the event and ensure that it runs smoothly on the day. If you are willing to participate in Europe Day, please fill in the registration form below.

The selected volunteers will be working in small groups and will be allocated to work in different zones of the event. These zones are: a) EU member states zone where 19 EU Member State embassies will be presented (Austria, Spain, Slovakia, Sweden, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Latvia, Romania, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, United Kingdom, Estonia, Portugal, Netherlands), b) EU programmes zone with all key EU programmes implemented in Georgia, c) Information zone, where the visitors will get all sort of practical and logistical information about the event, d) Children zone with different games and entertaining activities for children, e) Food court and f) Prize giving zone. Please be aware that even though we will try to consider everyone’s interests indicated in the registration form, we cannot guarantee that all volunteers will be assigned to their preferred zones.

Deadline for submitting the registration form is 22 April. The first meeting with the selected volunteers will be held on 28 April and the second preparatory meeting will take place on 4 May.

Branded t-shirts and food/drinks during the event will be provided by EU4Georgiaproject. All volunteers who will be part of the event will get certificates after the event.
