International Black Sea University, Tbilisi, Georgia, is inviting groups of students from EU member and Eastern Partnership countries, to participate in Tbilisi International Business Arbitration Moot.

The Moot is aimed at spreading the culture of global commercial dealing and exchanges, especially by means of Comparative law methodology and legal text inspired by the recourse to this science, and the recourse to amicable means of resolution of international commercial disputes.

Due to the limited number of available spots, applicants are asked to fill in an application form by the 20^th of June, 2018 in order to be considered for the moot court. Shortlisted teams will be contacted on the 29^th of June. The case will be uploaded on the 1^st of July.

The teams should submit the memoranda of the claimant and the defendant on the 30^th of August. Deadline for the questions is the 18^th of July.

In the first round, each team will compete 2 times. Teams will find out their opponents on the 7^th of September, 2018.

The oral hearings will be held in Tbilisi, Georgia, at the Law Faculty of the IBSU on October 12, 2018. The elimination rounds will take place on October 13, 2018, culminating with the final round on October 12, 2018 at Supreme Court of Georgia.

Participation is free of charge. The Invitation includes accommodation for up to 4 team members and 2 accompanying persons.
