Access to International Scientific Databases

The electronic databases available through the library include a wide range of peer-reviewed academic journals across various disciplines.
It is noteworthy that most of these journals are indexed in Thomson Reuters (Clarivate Analytics) and Scopus, which ensures their high academic quality and international credibility.

Access to international scientific databases is available directly through the university network without any authorization.

If you wish to access these resources remotely (off-campus), please contact the library at library@ibsu.edu.ge — we will provide you with the necessary instructions to activate remote access.

Our library provides access to one of the leading international platforms — EBSCO International Databases, which include:13 international databases, More than 11,000 titles in the fields of science and business, Full articles from the most influential U.S. newspapers, Over 100,000 e-books covering a wide range of fields — from the humanities to technical sciences.

cienceDirect® – is an international scientific platform managed by the leading academic publisher Elsevier. It offers electronic access to more than 18 million scientific resources, including: Over 4,000 peer-reviewed journals, more than 30,000 electronic books. The content is divided into four main subject areas: Physical Sciences and Engineering, Life Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Medicine and Health. Users can access full-text articles in both PDF and HTML formats.

ScienceDirect is a reliable and high-quality resource for education, research, and professional development.

Scopus – is a multifunctional scientific resource that includes bibliographic information, abstracts, and citation indicators from 1995 to the present. The database contains: More than 21,000 scientific journals, From over 5,000 international publishers, A total of over 50 million scientific records. This resource offers broad and reliable materials for research, analysis, and academic activity across multiple disciplines.

Funding Institutional – is a database that brings together information on scientific grants and funding opportunities worldwide. Users can search for grant projects relevant to their research field and receive detailed information on both current and upcoming funding sources.The platform provides access to: More than 4,300 governmental and private foundations, with a total value exceeding 98 billion USD. It is a valuable resource for researchers, universities, and organizations interested in scientific advancement and funding opportunities.

Cambridge Journals Online – is an electronic database that includes peer-reviewed journals published by Cambridge University Press since 1997.
The platform brings together high-quality academic content across all major fields of science, including: Law, Biology, Anthropology, Archaeology, Astronomy, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, History, Linguistics, Philosophy, Politics, Management, Sociology, International Relations, Psychology, Arts, Media, Communication, and more. The database provides access to: Over 1.8 million scientific articles, many of which are indexed in Thomson Reuters (Clarivate Analytics) citation indexes. This platform is an important resource for academic teaching and research.

e-Duke Journals Scholarly Collection – includes distinguished academic journals in various fields of humanities and social sciences, covering topics such as:
