Rainmaking – Startupbootcamp Georgia x IBSU | Global Innovation Accelerator Program at IBSU
The International Black Sea University has signed a memorandum with Rainmaking, one of the world’s most successful and global accelerator platforms, which is implementing the Innovative Startup Acceleration Program in Georgia with funding from GITA.
Rainmaking is recognized as a global leader in supporting innovation and startups, collaborating with world-renowned companies such as Meta (Facebook), LEGO Group, IKEA, Visa, HSBC, and Siemens.
Rainmaking operates worldwide and successfully implements the Startupbootcamp Georgia program in Georgia as well. The program helps startups secure funding, gain knowledge from international mentors, and acquire real, hands-on practical experience.
The projects of Startupbootcamp Georgia are designed to support startups and strengthen young people’s career growth.
As part of the partnership, IBSU students have already presented their own startups to the Startupbootcamp Georgia team and received valuable recommendations, evaluations, and professional guidance.
Under the memorandum signed between IBSU and Startupbootcamp Georgia – Rainmaking, the parties will collaboratively work in the following directions:
-Promoting internship opportunities for students and graduates
-Integrating Rainmaking’s expertise and years of experience into IBSU’s educational and practical environment
-Facilitating employment opportunities for students and alumni
-Supporting the planning and implementation of joint events and projects
-Encouraging the involvement of academic and administrative staff in various activities and initiatives
-Mutual support in implementing joint business activities
-Encouraging student and alumni participation in various projects
The memorandum was signed by IBSU Vice-Rector Goderdzi Buchashvili and Sarah Grippay, Program Manager at Rainmaking Innovation Europe.
