    Professor Ori Z. Soltes at IBSU

    A new project was initiated at the American Studies B.A. program by introducing a lecture on “American Novel” read by Assoc. Prof. George Shaduri and American Professor Ori Soltes from the Georgetown University. He acquainted students with literary criticism and various research topics of American novel. A series of such lectures has been planned.

    IBSU Student Exchange

    According to TEMPUS MAHATMA project two students: Tinatin Khatiashvili and Teona Gudadze from the MA program in Higher Education Administration were chosen to go for a study visit to the Bath Spa University (UK).     Armenian Students at IBSU for Tempus MAHATMA Project

    According to TEMPUS MAHATMA project five students from Armenian State University of Economics from the MA program in Education Management were chosen to go for a study visit to IBSU. On November 1-15 the students stayed at IBSU. Students were both given an opportunity and – according to the project – demanded to attend studies

    Visit in Georgian-American High School

    On November 24, 2014 the Dean of the Faculty of Education & Humanitites of the International Black Sea University Prof.Dr. Tamar Shioshvili, the vice dean Maia Samkanashvili and the assistant Lela Vanishvili visited Georgian American High School to make a memorandum for further cooperation between American Studies Department & the high school pupils.
