On February 21, 2014 Alexey Kharlamov, Senior Program Officer of the American Councils for International Education (ACTR/ACCELS) gave presentation on the U.S Carnegie Program (U.S. Washington D.C.) concerning education and research possibilities. The target audience for the presentation was graduate students, doctoral students, researchers, and professors.

A new project was initiated at the American Studies B.A. program by introducing a lecture on “American Novel” read by Assoc. Prof. George Shaduri and American Professor Ori Soltes from the Georgetown University. He acquainted students with literary criticism and various research topics of American novel.
