IBSU hosted the presentation of the second edition of the student magazine Vitascope. Vitascope is an English philology student magazine that publishes student articles on a wide range of topics, including education and linguistics, literature and literary theory, history and culture, philosophy and ethics, politics and international relations, psychology and neuroscience, environmental studies, and sustainability.
IBSU hosted a German professor, Christian Ludwig from Freie Universität Berlin ranked #5 in the global best universities in Germany. Junior student of the American Studies program Ani Mtsariashvili took part in the Elizabeth Orbeliani translation contest organized by the administration of the President of Georgia. Ani Mtsariashvili translated George Orwell’s Essay “The Prevention of Literature” from English to Georgian. The awarding ceremony of the Elisabed Orbeliani translation contest was held in the Orbeliani Palace.
