Acting media producers met with IBSU BA journalism program students and listened to their story ideas. Tamar Mshvenieradze, a lecturer at ‘Television News’, organised an event for students to experience Pitching, a process used by reporters to present, defend, and amend their ideas. Organized by the Journalism and Media Club, actor Kakha Kintsurashvili held a meeting with the IBSU students. At the interactive meeting, Kakha Kintsurashvili talked about acting career, youth concerns, and societal issues, as well as answering questions from IBSU students.
Organized by the IBSU Journalism and Media Club, TV presenter Davit Kashiashvili gave a public lecture on investigative journalism to students of the International Black Sea University’s undergraduate journalism program. Davit Kashiashvili also answered students’ queries during the interactive meeting.
An educational expedition was held in Kakheti for the “Photojournalism” undergraduate journalism program students. Students visited various cultural monuments and landmarks and mastered outdoor photography. They prepared a series of landscapes and panoramas. The exhibition of the best photos created within the subject traditionally will occur after the final exam.

The undergraduate journalism program students at IBSU met with the director, musician, and journalist, Nargiza Gardapkhadze, within the framework of the event organized by the teacher of “Culture and Art Coverage.” The meeting addressed peculiarities of coverage of different branches of art. The guest spoke about cultural journalists’ career challenges and gave beginner journalists professional advice.
International Black Sea University (IBSU) hosted sports commentator Tato Batsikadze. At the interactive meeting, organized by the Journalism BA program, Tato Batsikadze spoke on the topic of Sports and Georgian Media and answered students’ questions.
IBSU’s Digital Media and Communication MA Program has joined a joint program by Thomson Reuters and BBC Media, which will be implemented at five leading Georgian universities, including IBSU.
