I graduated from the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of I. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (1988-1993) with honours. In 1993-1996, I was a post-graduate student at A. Razmadze Mathematical Institute of the Georgian Academy of Sciences. In 1999, I defended my thesis and received the Degree of Candidate of Physical & Mathematical Sciences (Ph. D. in Mathematics) at A. Razmadze Mathematical Institute. In 2002, I obtained a certificate of an Associate Professor (Docent) at I. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Since 2001 I am a researcher (in 2001-2017 – senior researcher and since 2018 – chief researcher) at A. Razmadze Mathematical Institute of I. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, and since 2006 I have been holding the post of Director of the same institute. Since 2006, I am a Professor at International Black Sea University. Since 2018, I have been a visiting specialist at the Georgian Aviation University. In 1996-2006, I was an Academic Secretary of A. Razmadze Mathematical Institute of the Georgian Academy of Sciences. In 2000-2005, I was an Associate Professor (Docent) at the Department of Higher Mathematics of the Faculty of Physics at I. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, and in 2006-2009 – a Visiting Professor at Georgian American University. 

Within the framework of the fellowship of Development Foundation of Czech Universities, I carried out scientific activities at Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic, October-December, 1999).

Within the framework of the research grant from the Greek Ministry of Development, I carried out scientific activities at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Ioannina (Ioannina, Greece, February-April, 2001).

Within the framework of the research grant from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I carried out scientific activities at the Faculty of Engineering Sciences and Methods of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Reggio Emilia, Italy, February-May, 2003).

I have obtained 16 fellowships and research grants, participated in more than 60 international scientific conferences, and published 53 research papers.
