Business Administration – Management (English-taught)

Program Description

The goal of the Master of Business Administration in Management program is to prepare competent specialists with theoretical knowledge and practical skills of business management, scientific research and creative skills. The task of the program is to prepare specialists who have deep and systemic knowledge in the fields of Business and Management. In addition to theoretical courses, courses include interactive seminars and trainings, presentations and group work that will make it easier for the Student to analyze the theoretical and practical problems in real business-sensitivity and management. Students’ aspirations and desires, international trends of business and industry development and specifics of our country are taken into consideration in the teaching process. The task of the program is to get closer to student practice as internships in the private and public sector organizations, as well as various forms of active cooperation with professional circles. For this purpose, in addition to other activities in the program, the relations with the business sector are envisaged, with which the University has signed memorandums on mutual cooperation.

Admission 

Requirements for Georgian MA applicants:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic degree;
• Successful completion of the unified master’s examination;
• Examination (interview) in the language of the program instruction;
• B2 level intra-university test in a foreign language if it is not supported by a BA diploma/certificate;

Please note!

• An applicant is exempt from the foreign language examination if he/she completed an English-taught program/an international certificate confirming the B2 level or language knowledge;
• In case of equal scores in the interview, under competition conditions, the master’s candidate’s GPA will be taken into consideration.

Required documents: 

• Application Form
• 2 photos (3X4) (printed and in electronic form)
• Notarized copies of the diploma and the appendix, or the certificate issued by the relevant higher education institution on awarding the degree and a consolidated mark sheet (the IBSU diploma does not need to be notarized)
• Applicants with higher education overseas should present notarized translations of the diploma and appendix, as well as documentation confirming their international education
• Copy of identification card/passport (for citizens of foreign countries – notarized translation)
• An international certificate confirming the level of proficiency in a foreign language/a document confirming the academic degree obtained as a result of the completion of a foreign language program – diploma and appendix (if any)
• A military registration document issued in accordance with law
• A Common Master’s Degree Exam Card
