The Head (Eka Devidze) of the IBSU Tourism BA Program Participated in the Mobility Scheme as the outgoing participant at Life Beyond Tourism Movement in Florence, Italy. The project was managed by Eurochambres and funded under the EU4Business initiative of the European Union.
IBSU BA Tourism Program Students and the program Head Eka Devidze are participating in the project titled „Storytelling for Heritage Enhancement”. The aim is to investigate the value of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Georgia. Emphasis will be on its economic potential and role as a vehicle for cultural exchange and the appreciation
Eka Devidze, the Head of IBSU Tourism BA Programs participated in the symposium: “Cultural Routes as a Resource for Dialogue with Land, Environment and Communities” at Palazzo Coppini, Florence (Italy) within the framework of the collaboration between the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation and ICOMOS (International Council for Monuments and Sites).
Eka Devidze, the Head of IBSU Tourism BA Programs, Invited Lecturers – Mrs. Tsitsi Jangidze and Mrs. Nino Devidze, and Tourism students, attended the hybrid conference on “The Integration of Mind-Body and Mental Health – A Budo Perspective” at Palazzo Coppini in Florence (Italy) in collaboration with the Universities of Trento and Kyoto.
As part of the study visit, Eka Devidze, the Head of IBSU Tourism BA Program, and Nino Devidze, the Invited Lecturer of IBSU Tourism BA Programs had a study visit at the University of Florence, the School of Economics and Management. As part of the Erasmus + KA107 Exchange Program, IBSU hosted Dr. Arva Valeria from Eötvös Loránd University (Hungary) and Renata Winkler Cracow University of Economics (Poland). The guests met with the IBSU Rector, and the representatives of the International Relations Office, the School of Education, Humanities, and Social Sciences, and the School of Business. Within the framework of the Erasmus + Exchange Program, Dr. Lasha Kavtaradze visited the Cracow University of Economics, Poland, where he delivered lectures courses to the BA program students under the title of “Georgia’s economic relations with the World “and “Impact of the Russia-Ukraine war on CCA countries”.
