IBSU opened 29th academic year

The 29th academic year at International Black Sea University began with an evaluation of the academic staff’s research activity and awards for “scientist of the year” and mentors active in scientific initiatives.

During the occasion, IBSU Rector Mr. Kakha Shengelia and Vice Rector for Research Ms. Tea Kbiltseklashvili addressed the audience.

Mr. Kakha Shengelia stated that the university continually ensures the growth and promotion of scientific research activities, as well as providing systematic assistance to academic personnel in this respect.

At the event, the IBSU governing board recognized “scientist of the year,” scientific project authors, and mentors for their contributions to student success at various competitions and Olympiads.
