IBSU opens 28th academic year

International Black Sea University has officially opened its 28th academic year. Rector Kakha Shengelia and Deputy Education Minister Tamar Makharashvili addressed the ceremony attendees and awarded the most productive affiliated professors.
By the decision of the governing board, the Rector awarded the title of Honorary Emeritus to the affiliated professor, Natela Doghonadze, with more than 200 publications and 14 books to her credit.
Deputy Education Minister Tamar Makharashvili awarded the most productive affiliated professors of the 2022-2023 academic year, among them the Head of the Economics Program, Affiliated Professor Azer Dilanchiev, Head of the Tourism Program, Affiliated Professor Eka Devidze, Affiliated Professor Nika Chitadze, Head of the Digital Media and Communication MA Program, Affiliated Professor Dali Osepashvili and Head of Education Administration MA programs, affiliated professor Ekaterine Pipia.
 Moreover, for the contribution to the success of students at various competitions and Olympiads, the Dean of IBSU Schools awarded mentors, associate professor Irakli Khvtisiashvili, professor Davit Geperidze, affiliated associate professor Giorgi Mandaria, and invited lecturer, Inga Tkemaladze.
