IBSU hosted conference “Georgia at Crossroads of Empires”

International Black Sea University hosted the conference titled “Georgia at the Crossroads of Empires: Politics, Society, Time, Narratives of Georgian Integration”, organized by the IBSU Multidisciplinary Research Center with the support  [NFR – 22 – 272] of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia.

The conference focused on the influence and results of empires in the context of the centuries-old statehood of Georgia. Georgian and foreign researchers from France, Italy, Iran, Poland, Azerbaijan, and Qatar took part in the conference; IBSU professors also gave a report.

The study of the influence and politics of global states is considered a topical issue in modern sciences, echoing Georgia’s political objectives and perspectives.
