IBSU student magazine VITASCOPE is looking for writers

School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences

Are you captivated by writing? Is your room filled with journals that you have kept over the years? Do you carry a pen with you wherever you go? Can you often be found daydreaming – creating an inner monologue of reflection on the world around you? If so, put your pen to paper and share your writing for a chance to be published in the first issue of VITASCOPE – IBSU’s student magazine.

Operating under the English Philology, B.A. programme, VITASCOPE will give you an opportunity to investigate academic fields such as literature, politics, psychology, education, and linguistics through the lens of personalization and creativity. The way we perceive and interpret the world around us is exclusive and each of our observations needs to be cherished. So, we encourage you to intertwine your own experience with a subject you are fascinated with!

Your article must be relevant to one of the following topics:

  • Education and Linguistics
  • Literature and Literary Theory
  • History and Culture
  • Philosophy and Ethics
  • Politics and International Relations
  • Psychology and Neuroscience
  • Environmental Studies and Sustainability

To ensure that your submission is considered, please follow these guidelines:

Length: Your article should be between 250-1000 words.

Formatting: Your article must be a Word or Google Document and be formatted with Calibri 11-point font, 1-inch margins, and have 1.5 line spacing.

Originality: Submitted articles must be free of plagiarism.

Submissions will undergo a similarity check.

Of note: Your article should have a title and utilize APA format for references.

The deadline for submissions is May 31, 2023. To submit your article, please email it to vitascope@ibsu.edu.ge. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at the same email.
