The Faculty of Education and Humanities, International Black Sea University (IBSU) held 4th Annual Student Conference on March 22, 2016. The conference is gaining momentum increasing in the number of participants from BA as well as MA programmes – English Philology, American Studies, English Language Teaching and Education Administration. Students showed enthusiasm to actively participate and present interesting papers in Anglo-American linguistics and literature, English language teaching, culture and society. The Rector of IBSU, Prof. Dr. Ilyas Ciloglu opened the conference and addressed the audience approving of the faculty endeavours to support students’ growth and development; Dean of the Faculty of Education and Humanities, Prof. Dr. Tamar Shioshvili greeted the students and highlighted the importance of such academic events; Vice-Rector of IBSU, Prof. Dr. Natela Doghonadze also addressed the student audience expressing her happiness to observe the conference grow and become more varied and interesting;

Though all papers were interesting and students presented them in a creative manner meeting academic standards, the conference still had winners:

First-prize winners’ presentations have been recommended to be presented at 6th International Research Conference (IRCEELT) organised by the Faculty of Education and Humanities, IBSU. The Faculty of Education and Humanities would like to thank IBSU administration for supporting and funding this wonderful event aiming at enhancing students’ knowledge and experience.
