“Contemporary Journalism Challenges” – A public lecture was delivered at IBSU by MR John Maxwell Hamilton, a famous American Journalist and Media researcher.

The guest shared his professional experience with students, at the lecture lots of interesting professional stories and cases were discussed. Professor Hamilton gave three main pieces of advice to future journalists: develop the personal writing style, keep Journalistic standards and not to count only on their talent, because “many journalists are smart, but only few work hard”

John Hamilton is the Professor of Journalism School of Mass Communication at Louisiana State University and Global Fellow of Woodrow Wilson International Centre for Scholars Washington, D.C. He is one of the authors of the famous book about Journalism Hold the Press.
