Essay Competition My Country, Our World in 2030
The Dialogue of Civilizations Research Institute and Humboldt University, in collaboration with other partners from around Europe, are organising an essay competition on the theme ‘My country, our world in 2030’ during the winter semester of 2018-19.

The call for papers is to be made in November 2018 with papers to be submitted by 31 January 2019 and an award
ceremony taking place in March or April 2019.
Awards
Awards will include:
• Free flights, accommodation, and
participation in a 2-4 week summer school in any European country of the winners’ choice;
• Invitations to present selected essays at the 2019 Rhodes Forum;
• Other attractive awards from project partners, including laptops.
Entries
Should be submitted via email, in MS Word format, and in the English language, with a length up to a maximum of 5,000 words.
