FSS Students Attended to the Reception Marking the Diplomat’s Day

School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences

Further to the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, on Sunday 12 November, students of International Relations and the members of the Faculty of Social Sciences  attended a reception marking the Diplomat’s Day hosted at Ivane Javakhishvili  Tbilisi State University. The Vice-Prime Minister of Georgia and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Mikheil Janelidze, along with the Deputy Ministers, shared with the audience information about Georgia’s foreign policy directions. Students had a unique opportunity to receive first hand information about practice and internship within the MFA. The day dedicated to the Georgian Diplomacy, celebrated on 3 November, marks the birthday of the Georgian public figure Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani.
