IBSU hosted German professor

IBSU hosted a German professor, Christian Ludwig from Freie Universität Berlin ranked #5 in the global best universities in Germany. He delivered guest lectures for Bachelor English Philology Students on “The Modern Writing Classroom” and “The Digital Media” focusing on the role of Artificial Intelligence in the media and the modern classroom.

The lecture was in an interactive format and students had the opportunity to have an open discussion. Prof. Ludwig was hosted by the rector, Dr. Kakha Shengelia, the Dean of the School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Tamar Shioshvili, and the head of the educational program, Prof. Dr Maia Chkotua.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the future cooperation between the universities; namely, the memorandum of understanding and the Erasmus+ opportunities for staff and students of the English Philology and the Teacher Training Educational Programs.
