IBSU professors visited Eotvos Lorand University

School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences

As part of the Erasmus + KA107 exchange program, the Head of the English Philology BA program, Associate Professor Maia Chkotua, and Professor Nikoloz Parjanadze visited Eötvös Loránd University in Hungary.

The meetings were held with the Dean of the Faculty of Primary and Pre-School Education, Associate Professor Eva Markus, and the Head of the Program, Associate Professor Valeria Arva, to discuss the possibilities of student and academic exchange programs, as well as issues of deepening research cooperation.

Professors Maia Chkotua and Nikoloz Parjanadze also attended the presentations of summary projects prepared within the framework of different courses and delivered a lecture on “Methods of English Language Teaching.”

At the end of the five-day visit, IBSU professors introduced the Georgian education system to the students. On top of that, as the Head of the Higher Education Quality Assurance Department at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, Nikoloz Parjanadze spoke about the quality assurance mechanisms of higher education with professors of Eötvös Loránd University.
