IBSU hosted a joint student scientific conference – “Contemporary International Relations: Regions, Actors, Challenges.” The conference was organized by the IBSU International Relations Programme in collaboration with the Free University of Tbilisi School of International Relations.

26 students from the International University of the Black Sea and the Free University participated in the conference. The theses were divided into two sessions, the speakers were evaluated by professors and field experts from both universities, and after each presentation, the discussion was held. Participants were awarded certificates and the winners of the session were rewarded with gifts.

The goal of the event was to share knowledge and experience among universities’ students, to encourage research on contemporary international relations issues, and to promote the development of research skills.
