On 27 November 2017 Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Adam Mickiewicz University (Poznań) and International Black Sea University. Presupposing joint research projects, collaboration between the research centres, exchange programmes, with particular emphasis on visiting exchange of the young scholars, the MoU promotes international cooperation and internationalization agenda of the IBSU.

The MoU was signed between the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism, represented by the Vice-Dean Professor Radosław Fiedler, and the Faculty of Social Sciences, represented by Dr Ramazan Akbash.
