Tbilisi Main Library Project – “Know more about America”

In 2012, 20 years of U.S.-Georgian bilateral relations is celebrated. To mark the occasion, the General Education Course in American Studies focused on the school children interested in the U.S. culture, society and history of the U.S.-Georgian relations, American politics, art and literature. This project will also help them to get familiarized with American values, lifestyles and traditions. The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and U.S. Embassy in Georgia. The duration of the project is 3 months. On April 28, 2012 International Black Sea Students opened the project. M.A. Student of U.S. Foreign Affairs – Tea Chumburidze delivered a presentation about American Political System, and the senior student of American Studies – Mariam Vasadze delivered a presentation about American Sightseeing.
