Training Project at Canik Basari University, Samsun/Turkey

On November 20, 2015, International Black Sea University Faculty of Education and Humanities Professor Ekaterine Pipia and Associate Professor Nikoloz Parjanadze conducted a professional development training for Canik Basari University (Samsun, Turkey) English Language lecturers. Samsun Secondary school teachers also participated in the training. The training program included modern English language teaching methodology and approaches. Through interactive format of the training the participants were introduced to core aspects of English language teaching (ELT), such as, urgent issues of ELT theory and practice, developing teaching resources, classroom management, management of teaching and learning process, student-centered approach and its effective application in the classroom. Canik Basari University administration expressed their gratitude to International Black Sea University Faculty of Education and Humanities Professor Ekaterine Pipia, Associate Professor Nikoloz Parjanadze and Associate Professor Mehmet Sahiner for productive planning and organization of the training. The training participants were awarded certificates.
