VII Joint Student Scientific Conference „Caucasus at the Crossroads: Challenges to Regional Stability“

On May 18, 2019 VII Joint Student Scientific Conference “Caucasus at the Crossroads: Challenges to Regional Stability” took place at International Black Sea University. The conference is being held as the cooperation of the Faculty of Social Sciences, International Black Sea University and the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State Univerity. This year the event included sections on Internaitonal Relations and Politics, Economics, Public Administration and Interdisciplinary section.
The participants, professors and other guests were addressed by Dr. Ilyas Chiloglu, professor, rector of International Black Sea University and Dr. Tamar Dolbaia, Professor, dean of the Faculty f Social and Political Sciences, Ivane Javakhishvili, Tbilisi State University.
The opening ceremony of the conference was followed by working into four session in the framework of which students from Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan presented the results of their researches. The presenters were evaluated and commented by the field specialists’ academic commissions who selected the best works for each session to be awarded the Biblusi 100GEL present card from the Faculty of Social Sciences, IBSU.
The conference is annual and aims to provide the forum of young researchers, future leaders and analysts for the dialogue on the Stability challenges and opportunities of the Caucasus Region.
