Davit Kobiashvili University of Łódź
As a student of International Relations at the International Black Sea University (IBSU), spending a semester at the University of Łódź in Poland has been one of the most valuable experiences of my academic journey.
This exchange program gave me the chance to deepen my understanding of global politics and international cooperation in a truly multicultural environment. The classes are intellectually stimulating, and the professors encourage open debates.
Beyond academics, this experience has significantly expanded my personal and professional network. I’ve met peers from across Europe and beyond, many of whom are future diplomats, policymakers, and global thinkers. These connections are not only meaningful friendships but also potential collaborations in the future.
Living in Łódź has also been a cultural adventure—from its unique blend of old and new architecture to the welcoming and lively student community. I’ve grown more independent, open-minded, and confident in navigating diverse environments.
I would like to express my gratitude towards the IBSU international relations department for making this opportunity possible. Your support and commitment to international education have given me a chance to learn, grow, and represent our university and country abroad with pride.
