On April 27-28 the Faculty of Education at IBSU held the Second International Research Conference on Education, English Language Teaching, the English Language, and Literatures in English. The event is becoming annual. 44 papers were presented. Participants represented 5 countries (Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iraq and Mexico). Teams from IBSU (20 presenters), Ataturk University in Erzurum, Turkey (7), and Telavi State University (6) delivered their topics. 35 researcher and 9 students presented their papers which will be further published in conference proceedings (only abstracts for students). Many interesting contemporary topics were discussed, related to education, linguistics and language teaching. The conference was held in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, with lively discussions, humor, and musical pauses. For foreign participants a cultural program was carried out as well.
