IBSU students in the international educational program “Crisis Negotiations” in Poland
Students of the International Black Sea University (IBSU) participated in the international educational programme – Intensive International Education Programme (IMPK): Crisis Negotiations, held in Wrocław, Poland, and organized by WSB Merito University within the framework of the SPINAKER project.
The programme aimed to equip students with practical skills in crisis negotiations and effective communication in high-pressure situations within an international academic environment. Participants had the opportunity to work on real-life scenarios, exchange experiences with peers from different countries, and broaden their professional perspectives.
Participation in the programme was fully funded. Selected students received financial support covering both tuition and travel expenses, in accordance with the rules and mobility criteria of the SPINAKER project.
Tornike Merabishvili: “My experience at the crisis negotiations program in WSB Merito University in Wrocław was very memorable experience. The program focused on teaching us how to handle negotiations, especially in difficult and stressful situations. all students were involved in the activities, which made the learning process much more engaging and practical.
We learned how to communicate with aggressors, how to stay calm under pressure, and which approaches are effective in negotiations and which ones should be avoided. The classes were led by experienced lecturers who had both strong theoretical knowledge and real-life experience in warfare, which made their ways teaching interesting.
A big part of the program was based on simulations, role-playing, and different tasks. These activities helped us practice what we learned and made sure that everyone participated equally. This made the program not only educational but also very realistic and memorable.
Overall, it was a truly worthwhile experience. In addition to the academic part, it was also a great opportunity to visit Poland and explore Wrocław, which is a beautiful city full of history, churches, and museums.”
Alexander Adonia: “I am completely satisfied with the program, the lecturers showed us the full value and shared their experience with us. They explained to us the necessity of making the right decision and taking the necessary steps in an extreme situation, we participated in a simulation and gained experience in negotiations. In addition, the beautiful city, environment and people left a very positive impression on me, thank you to IBSU for such an opportunity!”
IBSU continues to create international opportunities for its students and to enhance their engagement in the global educational space.
