The 16th International Research Conference on Education, Language, and Literature (IRCEELT) Formally Held at IBSU
The annual international conference, organized by the university, brought together 116 researchers representing Georgia, USA, Canada, Poland, Israel, and Iran. Within the framework of IRCEELT 2026, nine invited keynote speakers from the United States shared international expertise and practical insights regarding the effective utilization of modern technologies in the field of education.
The core thematic areas of the conference addressed contemporary challenges and innovative approaches in education. Participants deliberated on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the instructional process, the application of modern communication technologies in teaching and learning, learning environment management, educational leadership, management, and administration, as well as state-of-the-art methodologies in foreign language pedagogy.
The conference was officially opened by the President of the University, Luka Kavtelishvili. Welcoming remarks were delivered by Zviad Gabisonia, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, and Sarah Saperstein, representative of the U.S. Embassy in Georgia. The opening ceremony was also attended by distinguished guests from the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation and partner higher education institutions.
IRCEELT 2026 was organized with the prominent support of the U.S. Embassy in Georgia and was dedicated to the 250th anniversary of United States history.
Distinguished research papers from this year’s conference will be published in Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
