IBSU professors participated in the International Staff Week 2026 in Bulgaria within the framework of the Erasmus+ program

Affiliated Professor and the head of the bachelor’s program in Public Administration and State Governance Mrs. Tamar Kakutia, together with Affiliated Associate Professor and the head of the School of Foreign Languages, Mrs. Ekaterine Archvadze, participated in the International Staff Week 2026 at Varna Free University in Varna, Bulgaria.

The event, organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ Mobility Program, aimed to strengthen partnerships among European universities and institutions worldwide. Representatives from different countries took part in meetings, workshops, discussion sessions, and cultural activities designed to share ideas and best practices related to internationalization, student exchanges, and internships.

During the week, Prof. Kakutia and PROF. Archvadze, representing the International Black Sea University, introduced the country of Georgia, the structure and regulations of the IBSU and different schools and programmes. They also engaged in constructive dialogues with colleagues from various universities to explore opportunities for enhancing cooperation, increasing student and staff mobility, and developing new international projects. Additionally, participants discussed the anticipated impact of artificial intelligence on education, as well as the benefits and challenges associated with the digital transformation of educational institutions.
