IBSU Rector’s address to 2023 Graduation Ceremony

IBSU Rector Saffet Bayraktutan addressed the 2023 Graduation Ceremony.

“Distinguished board and school members, honored guests, dear friends, and family members of the remarkable graduating class of 2023 at International Black Sea University. It is my privilege to stand before you and deliver this speech on behalf of the entire university community.

IBSU Alumni are recognized as patriots of the country, equipped with extensive knowledge and a diverse range of skills that enable them to overcome challenges. IBSU Alumni as a member of this society involves with and take the initiative in problem-solving processes to contribute to society and try to create a better future for their communities.

Today you are joining this huge family of IBSU Alumni and you are equipped with extensive knowledge and required skills. Therefore, you are expected to be involved with and take initiative in problem-solving processes to contribute to society and try to create a better future.

Remember that your time at International Black Sea University has prepared you for your career and life endeavors. There is a significant amount of work by your professors behind the academic title you are awarded today. The only thing expected of you is to not be forgotten, to be involved in relevant activities, and to support IBSU indefinitely. International Black Sea University will remember you, stay in contact and anticipate your continued involvement.

On behalf of the entire International Black Sea University community, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to each and every one of you. As you throw your graduation caps you are part of a remarkable network of alumni who have walked this path before you.
