brAInvest Hackathon held at IBSU
The International Black Sea University successfully held the brAInvest Hackathon – a two-day innovative hackathon that brought together students, pupils, mentors and representatives of the technological ecosystem. Participants worked on innovative projects for 48 hours, developed ideas with the help of MIT’s Orbit AI platform and presented their work to the jury.
According to the jury’s decision, three teams took the prize places:
ARIA – 2,000 GEL
An innovative solution that helps organizations effectively manage received applications and select the best candidates.
Team members: Barbara Kavtaradze, Oto Turkiashvili, Giorgi Kavtaradze, Guram Getia.
Kentsero – 2,000 GEL
A platform that allows students to accumulate points based on academic performance and exchange them for various benefits at partner institutions.
Team members: Mariam Karumidze, Tekla Kiparoidze, Keti Mekoshkishvili, Mate Rekhviashvili, Giorgi Tsikhelashvili.
EduMatch – 1,000 GEL
An AI-based platform that helps applicants discover their professional interests and get information about universities.
Team members: Demetre Nadiradze, Marine Labadze, Ioane Abashidze, Giga Kvatadze.
The projects were evaluated by a jury consisting of CityPay.io Director Lasha Gogua, MIT-trained lecturers Nana Bitsadze and Natia Giorgadze, IBSU School of Business Dean Marika Kldiashvili, and School of Computer Science and Architecture Dean Marina Razmadze.
