The VII Winter Olympiad in Informatics

On Sunday, February 23, at International Black Sea University, in partnership between International Black Sea University and “Information Technologies Training and Informatics Olympiad Supporting Association”, the VII Winter Olympiad for Georgian students in Informatics was held. The Olympiad is one of the high-ranking Olympiads in Georgia. About 100 students from three age categories (grades VI-VIII, IX-X and XI-XII) participated in it. In each age group there were ten winners who were awarded with special diplomas and prizes. “I congratulate all the winners and all the participants, because traditionally in this Olympiad participate the strongest students. Thanks to International Black Sea University and its administration for sponsoring the Olympiad, to its staff, students and our former participant for their support.” Head of Preschool and General Education Development Department of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, Mrs Lali Kalandadze and Ms. Nino Tsandishvili, Senior Specialist of the same Department, attended the award and closing ceremony. The guests congratulated the winners and wished them further success. Ahead there are national, world and European Olympiad.” I am sure that the winners of the Olympiad will make us glad with their success.”
