According to TEMPUS MAHATMA project two students from the MA program in Higher Education Administration were chosen to go for a study visit to the Bath Spa University (UK).
On October 15-30, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Natela Doghonadze the students went there. BSU is situated in Bath – a beautiful resort city in the South-West of the UK. Students were both given an opportunity and – according to the project – demanded to attend at least 24 hours of studies (lectures, seminars) in their field. They were also offered personal consultations concerning the MA thesis. Though the study schedule was very tough (some days students attended 8 hours of classes), it left enough free time to explore the city of Bath, as well as visit Stonehenge, Oxford, and London. Prof. Natela Doghonadze took traditional IBSU gifts and scientific journals and gave them to the BSU project coordinator Prof. Paul Hyland and the Dean of the School of Education Prof. Kate Reynolds. The group also received BSU souvenirs. They have established contacts with students and professors for further cooperation. It was a most productive and enjoyable visit.
