IBSU delegation visit to Zwickau University

From 2023, the International Black Sea University Master’s Program in Computer Sciences will offer students a new English-language double degree program – “Computer Science and Management”.

The new English-language program was prepared within the framework of the international project entitled IDEA, with the University of Applied Sciences of Zwickau (WHZ) and four partner universities from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and China.

From the International Black Sea University, the project is led by the head of master’s and doctoral programs in computer science – Dr. Marina Razmadze.

Within the framework of the project, the International Black Sea University delegation paid an official visit to Zwickau University of Applied Sciences. The delegation was led by the rector of the university Dr. Saffet Bayraktutan, among the members of the delegation were Dr. Marina Razmadze, the head of the master’s program in computer science and professor Dr. Maya Chkotua, the head of the bachelor’s program in English philology. During the visit, the delegation met the rector of Zwickau University of Applied Sciences Stefan Kassel.

The parties talked about current issues within the framework of mutual cooperation and also discussed the prospects of joint projects to be implemented in the future.

According to the rector of the university, Dr. Saffet Bayraktuthan, this kind of cooperation is a great step forward for the International Black Sea University and it contributes to the growth of the university’s recognition not only within the country, but also in the international arena.

According to Dr. Marina Razmadze, the master’s degree recognized by the two countries is important both for the university and for the students. Because the student will have an opportunity to get an education not only at IBSU, but also to study at Zwickau University, to develop professionally and become more competitive in both the domestic and international labor markets.
