06.10.2022

The Georgian Internet Governance Forum met, and the Youth Internet Governance Forum was also established, as part of the Council of Europe (CoE) project “Media and Internet Freedom Promotion in Georgia.”

One of the forum’s key co-founders is the International University of the Black Sea. Prof. Dali Osefashvili, director of the master’s program in “Digital Media and Communication,” attended the meeting on behalf of the institution.

The Youth Internet Governance Forum has a number of digital technology-related events planned for students. The Black Sea International University proposed Giorgi Makarashvili, a master’s candidate in “Digital Media and Communication,” to serve on the forum’s steering committee.
