“Russia-Ukraine War, International Response to The challenges of World Order and Security”.

IBSU International Relations Program hosted panel discussion on “Russia-Ukraine War, International Response to The challenges of World Order and Security”.

In the framework of the panel discussion, current events in Ukraine and the accompanying processes in the World and Georgia as well was discussed by invited experts:

  • Ivanna Machitidze, IBSU Associate Professor, Doctor of Political Science;
  • Shalva Dzebisashvili – Doctor of Political Science, Co-Founder of the Georgian Center for Strategic Analysis (GSAC);
  • Giorgi Gobronidze, Invited Lecturer at IBSU, International Relations and Security studies.
  • David Bragvadze, Invited Lecturer at IBSU, Founder of the Georgian Institute for Security Policy;

In the first part of the discussion experts talked about Russia-Ukraine war, Russia’s main interests and actions, so called “Novorossiya” project, possible scenarios for further development of the events, Georgia’s Security and Foreign Policy Challenges. In the second part of the meeting, a question-and-answer session was held with the audience.
