International Black Sea University hosted Gvantsa Davitashvili, the head of the Department of Human Rights Education of the Public Defender’s Office. The guest presented the Public Defender’s practice and recommendations regarding human rights education, as well as discussed the challenges of teaching human rights in the university environment.

Quality Assurance Office meets with student self-governance members
As part of the “Take Care of Quality Development” project, representatives of the IBSU Quality Assurance Office met with newly elected student self-governance members. Ketevan Nanobashvili, the Office’s head, presented the work the Office accomplished in the 2022-2023 academic year. Secretary of Saudi Arabia Embassy visits IBSU
The first secretary of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia, the head of the consular department, Ahmad Asiri, visited the IBSU. The guest was briefed on the IBSU BA and MA programs. The visit aims to establish future cooperation between Saudi educational institutions and IBSU.
