The Rector of the International Black Sea University, Kakha Shengelia, personally congratulated the university employees on the Easter holiday and gifted them Easter cakes (Paska).
IBSU Professor Nika Chitadze participated in the Second Black Sea Security Conference, which took place in Bulgaria, Sofia. The conference aimed to discuss changes in the security situation in the wider Black Sea region related to the Russia-Ukraine war.

International Black Sea University’s English-taught Medicine Program has received full accreditation from the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE). Effective September 2024, the Medicine Program students will commence studying in a new campus equipped with contemporary auditoriums and labs.
