IBSU Youth Leaders Club has launched a new project, Youth Talk, enabling students to speak on a variety of current topics and develop their leadership abilities. During today’s inaugural meeting, lecturer Nino Samkharadze, students Vakhtang Mania, Liza Partsvania, and Mariam Chikhladze spoke on the topic “The Power of Youth.”
Organized by the School of Computer Science and Architecture, EduCare Georgia’s co-founder Razmik Badalian delivered a public lecture at IBSU on the topic “Teaching Georgian Language to AI.” The guest gave the students an overview of the peculiarities of developing voice programs as well as Common Voice’s operation, which is centered on developing the STT
Tamar Narindoshvili, Lecturer of the MA Digital Media and Communication Program, delivered a public lecture at IBSU on the topic: “Cybersecurity and disinformation as an important challenge”. Narindoshvili spoke extensively about cyber threats, defense mechanisms, and the significance of an effective cyber security system. Examples of various well-known cyberattacks were also reviewed during the lecture.
IBSU hosted an International Student Conference, attended by representatives of Georgian and German universities. This year’s event, organized by IBSU, Georgian Technical University, and Saarland University of Technology and Economics, was bigger in scope.
