A visit of students of the Bachelor of Accounting and Auditing program to BDO.
02.11.2022Students of the International Black Sea University’s accounting and auditing undergraduate program (ethical issues in accounting subject) visited the auditing and business consulting company BDO.
According to the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business, Assistant Professor Yasha Murvanidze, the visit helps students to deeply study audit ethics, accounting codes of conduct, ethical responsibility of accounting and auditing firms, modern issues of ethics and professional accountants. It allows students to learn about the challenges of the modern business environment and helps them plan and develop their own careers.
As the vice dean emphasized: “Such visits help students develop more in-depth knowledge and practical skills of both theoretical and practical fundamental issues of business and accounting and auditing. It also helps students to study the activities of various business sectors according to modern standards at the local and international level, provides the opportunity to make the right decision about employment in the public, private, and non-governmental sectors.”
The audit and business consulting company BDO has been a partner of the International Black Sea University for 10 years and a major employer of its students.
