Dr. Luke Prodromou’s Workshop – Shakespeare’s Unruly Women

The Faculty of Education and Humanities at International Black Sea University organized the 7th International Research Conference on Education, Language and Literature which attracted many highly-qualified scholars, teachers and educators from 26 countries. Through the scope of the conference Dr. Luke Prodromou, a famous educator, teacher and book author was invited to give a key-note speech to the conference audience. Dr. Prodromou kindly agreed to conduct a workshop “Celebrating Shakespeare's Unruly Women: Language, Voice, Identity” for IBSU students.

 Mostly the students of the Faculty of Education and Humanities attended and workshop. Dr. Prodromou explained key components of Shakespearean drama, scrutinized the nature of Shakespeare’s plays highlighting major traits of female characters. Students were actively involved in the workshop; they showed much interest and readiness to discuss the issues raised by Dr. Prodromou; both the speaker as well as students greatly enjoyed the workshop.
