On June 11, 2024, at 12 pm, in the conference hall of IBSU, the organizing committee of the 2025 European Winter Youth Olympic Festival will hold an information meeting for volunteers.
Event Details:
In 2025, Georgia will host the European Winter Youth Olympic Festival from February 2 to 16. This will be one of the largest events ever held in Georgia, taking place across three locations: Tbilisi, Batumi, and Bakuriani. The festival will feature eight sports disciplines:
- Alpine skiing
- Freestyle skating
- Snowboarding
- Biathlon
- Ski racing
- Short track speed skating
- Figure skating
- Ice hockey
Volunteer Information:
The Bakuriani 2025 organizing committee is overseeing this event and requires around 800 volunteers. Selected volunteers will be assigned to various departments based on their interests and will receive both general and specialized training. Once trained, they will be deployed to the event locations as chosen by the organizing committee, starting from the commencement of the main event in Bakuriani.
