Meeting with Head of Agency of Protected Areas Mr. Rati Japaridze
19.10.2014On April 1, 2014 Faculty of Business Management hosted Head of Agency of Protected Areas Mr. Rati Japaridze. Mr. Japaridze met Tourism Program students and professors. During the meeting Mr. Japaridze discussed already accomplished, ongoing and planned projects such as EU 8.5 million investment received from German government that will be used for expanding of existing protected areas of Kintrishi, Algeti and Kazbegi as well as establishing new protecting area of Pshav-Khevsureti. Mr. Japaridze also referred to unique features of the Georgian nature and challenges of administering of the protected areas. At the end of the meeting the guest answered the questions of the audience.
