A well-known public figure, linguist and diplomat gained his doctoral degree in St. Petersburg, Russia. He is an American citizen, currently living in Tbilisi.Since 2007 has been the Editor of the English language weekly ‘Georgian Journal,’ published in Tbilisi, Georgia.Is the author of about six hundred articles, twenty scientific papers and two books.Has anchored a political talk show and the English language news on Channel One and TV-3 His radio lessons for learners of English have enjoyed a huge popularity throughout the country. Is the winner of regional Emmy Award for television excellence in USA while working there as a correspondent of Channel 11 in Atlanta, Georgia.He will be sharing his rich experience with students of the American  Studies Program through the courses entitled :” American Politics,” and “American Media”.
