IBSU international relations program is hosting a seminar by the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute

School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences

IBSU International Relations Program will host a seminar on “Energy and Climate Diplomacy, Energy Efficiency and Energy Management”, organized by the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute in cooperation with the Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Georgia. The project is supported by the United Nations and the Development Fund of Bulgaria.

 

The objective of this undertaking is to increase the expert capacity of the target audience in the field of energy and sustainable development and to expand and deepen the regional cooperation within formats such as the Eastern Partnership, the Energy Community, and the Paris Agreement. Another important focus of the seminars is the energy security dimension in the Caspian and the Black Sea regions and the establishment of the necessary synergies between them, including opportunities for investment in green energy. The seminar will be led by experts from the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute.

 

The working language will be English. The seminar is designed for IBSU students and will be held on the University campus.
