TEMPUS project MAHATMA: training in Kutaisi

On March 15-16 Akaki Tsereteli State University, Kutaisi hosted the participants of Tempus Project MAHATMA (IBSU, Ilia State University, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University). EU representatives (Luisa Ardizzone, CESIE Italy;

 Petr Novotny, Masaryk University Czech Republic; George Dafoulas, Middlesex University England; and Serge Chernishenko, Koblenz-Landau University Germany) held capacity building training for 40 Georgian attendants. IBSU team included Prof. Dr. Natela Doghonadze, Prof. Dr. Ekaterine Pipia, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nikoloz Parjanadze, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irma Mesiridze, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nino Tvalchrelidze, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sophio Khundadze, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Shahiner, Assist. Prof. Dr. Goderdzi Buchashvili, Dr. Ramazan Gochtu, and MA Taisia Muzafarova. The training included topics dealing with research management, Information Technologies in education management, marketing, project management, and professional ethics.

During the stay in Kutaisi IBSU representatives visited Physics-Mathematical Public School, Kutaisi Public School N1 and Niko Nikoladze private school and presented IBSU BA programs to school administration.
