Visit of delegation of the German partner, Westsaxon University of Applied Sciences (WHZ)

On 30.09.15 the staff of faculty of Computer Technologies and Engineering (CTE) met the delegation from its German partner WHZ in the scope of DAAD-project “Practice-oriented study in Kyrgyzstan and Georgia”. This project set up to run from 2015 till 2018.

The main aim of the project is to connect the education process with industry. The members of the delegation are Prof. Dr. Georg Beier (project leader, (WHZ)), Ms. Kumushay Arzybaeva (project coordinator, WHZ), Mr. Uwe Bauch (CEO, community4you) and Ms. Margarita Bauch (web-developer, community4you). The meeting was held by the dean of the CTE faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cihan Mert and by the program coordinator of BA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lela Mirtkhulava and staff of the CTE faculty.

The partners of the project from Georgia are IBSU and GTU. The aim of this first meeting was to introduce the project goals, activities and perspectives to the Georgian project partners, to discuss Bachelor and Master programs of computer Sciences, to select the students for internship and final thesis in Germany. The main languages for the qualification for German company are java and German. The delegation was very impressed by the language and professional skills of the IBSU students.
